Working as a book editor

I just wanted to write a quick update to share something that I'm so excited about for the next stage of my career: I'm now working almost full-time as a freelance book editor.

I was fortunate enough this fall to have the chance to work with Cavendish Square, a New York-based publisher of nonfiction book series and readers for students from kindergarten- to college-age. I started off working on a seven-book series about international borders and the history behind them, and I'm learning so much, and enjoying every moment!

I hope to keep working with Cavendish, and in the future, branch out into more freelance editing, focusing on nonfiction books as well as poetry and fiction.
