I am a Seattle-based freelance writer who has won 22 awards in investigative reporting, photography, feature writing, and design and written for such publications as Forbes, YES! Magazine and Memphis Magazine. Today, I focus on freelance photography, specializing in literary events and the environment.
In journalism, my specialty is investigative articles on the environment, education, cultural studies and travel. From 2010 to 2012, I was a reporter/photographer and news editor at the tri-weekly Kentucky Standard newspaper in Nelson County, Kentucky, covering education, cops and courts, government meetings, planning and zoning, agriculture and business. Since 2012, I have worked as a freelance reporter for such publications as YES! Magazine and Memphis Magazine, and I focus more on environmental issues, visual communication and visual public relations and marketing.
