Short story to be published by Conjunctions

I just wanted to leave a brief note here to share some exciting news. A few weeks ago, I learned that Conjunctions — an incredible publication that has published some of my favorite writers — had accepted a short story of mine for publication.

Although I have been writing fiction, on and off, for as long as I've been writing poetry, this is the first piece of fiction I will have ever published. And to have it appear in such a renowned publication has me absolutely floored.

The story, entitled "Coin," will appear in the Dispatches from Solitude issue this fall.

I just want to take this opportunity to extend my most profound thanks to Conjunctions editor Bradford Morrow, who has been hugely supportive of this work and who made it better with his insightful edits. What an absolute honor it's been to have such a careful, generous reader of my work — and then to have that work published in one of the best journals out there.
